2025 Scholarship Application is Now Open!

 Women Professionals in Government awards merit-based scholarships twice each year (Spring and Fall) to female residents of the Greater Houston area who are students in good standing attending an accredited university. Women Professionals in Government (WPG) scholarship candidates must be a female (including all cisgender or transgender women) resident of the Greater Houston area, a student in good standing at an accredited university/college in the Greater Houston area, and currently pursuing studies for a career in public service. Undergraduate applicants must have completed at least 30 undergraduate hours and graduate students must have completed at least 12 graduate hours.  Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student.
